Mini project!

We had to make a small project for the end of our class so I made valentines bear! He was originally going to have a body but then I thought... Nahhhhhhh. I came up with it cause valentines day is soon...ish.
I started by making a flower-like shape on a piece of pink paper and cutting it out. I then bent and taped the petals together to make a orb shape. I taped on ears and glued the red ear centers. I made a small bow and eyes. I then hot glued it to a red circle cut-out and glued little hearts next to it and on the back of the bear. I used a red marker for the mouth.
Final thoughts: I think it's super cute and relatively easy but if I were to do it again I would make sure the "petals" of the flower shape were cute equal for a better result.

Repetition

This project started out with Ms Sudkamp having us write words that depict repetition. We had to write 15 words in our sketchbook, here is mine:
One of the things was "repetition is the key to memorization", I had the idea to make a brain with a key unlocking it but decided that the idea would be better as a illustration, not a 3D work. My other idea was to do a Cubism piece of a hat or antler helmet but I needed the shape of a head to build on... I couldn't find one and didn't want to or know how to fabricate one so... That was out.
One day I just wanted to make clay sheep...so I did... I made 3 and a little plot of ground for them to stand on. My repetition was having multiple sheep. Here it is:
I like the outcome, I think it's adorable, but if I were to do it again I'd try to keep the sheep the same size and be more careful with my paint.
